Artwork FAQs
What is a proof?
After your order has been placed and you have supplied any artwork if needed, we will email you a .pdf file for your review. This proof will provide you with a visual of how the design will look when printed. Please carefully review all text and graphics for accuracy. If any changes or corrections are needed a revised proof will be sent for your review. Once the proof is confirmed the order will move into production.
If you are unable to view your .pdf proof, download Adobe Acrobat Reader.
When can I expect to see my proof?
Typically proofs will be emailed to you within 2 business days after submitting your order.
What file types do you accept?
For the best possible results with your awards, we ask that you provide your artwork in vector format. Vector file types include: .pdf, .eps, .ai, .cdr, and .svg.
If providing vector artwork is not possible, please provide raster files with a minimum resolution of 300 PPI (pixels per inch) at the printed size. Raster file types include: .jpg, .psd .png, and .bmp. A raster image with a resolution lower than 300 PPI may require recreation in vector format.
What's the difference between vector and raster files?
Vector artwork is created using mathematical points, lines, and curves that allow images to be enlarged with no loss in quality.
Raster images are composed of dots of color called pixels. If a raster image needs to be enlarged, the pixels are stretched and the image becomes blurry, or pixelated. Raster images often look sharp on your computer screen but result in a low quality print if the resolution is below 300 PPI (pixels per inch) when resized for printing.
How to format your Excel file:
To ensure a smooth processing of your order, please include both the first name and last name together in a single column. This is illustrated in the image below.
